About Me

Wes Christensen specializes exclusively in the sale and acquisition of economy, midscale, and upscale hospitality assets in the Intermountain West. He has successfully brokered 80 hotel transactions totaling over $496 million in volume and has extensive experience acquiring or disposing of limited-service, select-service, full-service, and extended-stay assets across the most respected hospitality brands, including Marriott, Hilton, IHG, Choice, Best Western, and Wyndham. Wes has exclusively represented owner/operators, private investors, banks, private equity groups, and family offices. Prior to joining Mountain West Commercial, Wes was a First Vice President and a Director within the National Hospitality Group at Marcus and Millichap (NYSE: MMI).

Wes holds a master’s degree in real estate development from the University of Utah, a Certificate in Hotel Real Estate Investments from Cornell University, and a Bachelor of Science in Sociology from Brigham Young University. He has been a guest lecturer for hospitality market analysis at the University of Utah and Utah Valley University. Wes previously served as the President for the Utah CCIM Chapter and has earned his Certified Commercial Investment Member designation. In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with his wife and three children. He is an avid basketball player and fan and was the team captain of the 2005 Texas 5A state championship basketball team.
