About Me

Wes Christensen specializes exclusively in the sale and acquisition of economy, midscale, and upscale hospitality assets in the Intermountain West. He has successfully brokered 50 hotel transactions totaling over $303 million in volume and has extensive experience acquiring or disposing of limited-service, select-service, full-service, and extended-stay assets across the most respected hospitality brands, including Marriott, Hilton, IHG, Choice, Best Western, and Wyndham. Wes has exclusively represented owner/operators, private investors, banks, private equity groups, and family offices. Prior to joining Mountain West Commercial, Wes was a First Vice President and a Director within the National Hospitality Group at Marcus and Millichap (NYSE: MMI).

He currently serves as the President of the Utah CCIM Chapter and has earned his Certified Commercial Investment Member designation. Wes holds a master’s degree in Real Estate Development from the University of Utah, a Certificate in Hotel Real Estate Investments from Cornell University, and a Bachelor of Science in Sociology from Brigham Young University. In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with his wife and two children. He is an avid basketball player, fan, and was the team captain of the 2005 Texas 5A state championship basketball team.
