About Me

Rand Sargent serves as Director of the Ryan Flint Team. He’s Ryan’s right-hand man and COO of the Flint Team, and as such, has been involved in both individual and team transactions, including many multi-market deals.  He is an unbelievable support to the team; he provides and understands everything from financial analysis and underwriting, acquisition underwriting and valuation, and site selection. He helps to put together top-shelf electronic marketing packages and offering memorandums for the clients he and the team serve.

On a day-to-day basis, Rand handles all things with operations—touring tenants, updating landlords, and everything in between. He oversees flyers, signs, letters of intent, REPC’s and PSA’s, client follow-up, data organization, and much more. Being partnered with Ryan Flint, Rand has been exposed to, and performed on, a wide variety of opportunities for clients including complex dispositions, valuing asset acquisitions, leasing, and negotiating large leases for prominent companies nationwide. Rand loves getting to know the clients he serves and understanding their needs and problems in order to recommend solutions. His approach to the industry has yielded loyal client relationships that go beyond business. His passion for process improvement and organization has helped the team innovate their approach in keeping property owners updated, staying in touch with tenants, and keeping deals on track. Taking care of his clients and watching the growth/success of their businesses is what he enjoys most about commercial real estate. His vast network of friends and contacts is a byproduct of long trying to do the right thing for the people he serves.

Rand comes from a background in tech, where he spent a number of years working for Fusion-io, Instructure, and Pluralsight. Across roles, he helped his client’s C-suite personnel solve their various challenges via software and hardware solutions.

Outside the office, Rand loves spending time with his wife and four kids. They keep him busy with piano lessons, softball, soccer, cooking and art classes, and myriad other activities. As a golf addict (and Valley View’s course-record holder), he loves spending time with clients and friends on the golf course any chance he gets and finds great joy in those relationships. He loves sports, all things technology, and reading.
