About Me

Brett Palmer’s extensive real estate experience has assured the transaction success for thousands of client property needs.  His client base ranges from institutional and individual owners to local and national retailers.  Brett has 17 years experience in all aspects of the  retail industry from shopping center development to property sales, leasing and tenant representation. He has been a key asset to thousands of successful transactions.

Brett maintains a balance between landlord represention and tenant representation that allows him to stay highly informed of all aspects of the market. That type of balance allows him to continually nurture relationships that help assure success for any retail property requirement. These and other national and local retailers have benefited from Brett’s market knowledge, his willingness to listen and understand their needs and vision, and his tenacity to accomplish their goals.

Retailers such as 7-Eleven, Applebee’s, Famous Daves BBQ, Wendy’s, Seagull Books, Aarons Sales & Leasing, Menchie’s, Great Clips, Sears Home Appliance, Beauty Brands, Ideal Image, Peerless Beauty, Sonic America’s Drive-In, Taco Bell, Tony Burgers, Anytime Fitness, FYE and Genuine Parts Co. (NAPA) have relied on Brett to orchestrate their real estate expansion in UT.

Brett’s untiring work ethic, his willingness to be highly accountable to his clients, and his effective negotiation skills have benefited landlords such as Wright Developent Group, Manor House Development, Miller Weingarten, Doerken Properties, Development Associates, Inc. (DAI), UT State Retirement Fund, Kimco Realty Group, Sorenson Development, Intermountain Development Group, Anderson Development, Rimrock Construction, First Security Bank, KSG Properties, Tate/Brubacker, Heartland Realty, and Smith Brubaker Haackle.  Efforts to successfully serve his clients are supplemented by Mountain West’s property databases, superb mapping specialists and demographic programs, local and national industry networks and more.

The results of successfully servicing such clients has continually placed Brett as a top salesman in both the Retail Division and the entire company. Prior to joining Mountain West Retail-Investment, Brett serviced clients for seven years at Barlow-Nielsen Associates.

Working towards completing the Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) designation, Brett is a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC).  A Brigham Young University graduate, he majored in English and obtained a minor in Business Marketing.  Brett is married and the father of five children.
