About Me
Ben Brown began his commercial real estate career in 2000. He spent the first year conducting research and publishing the UT Retail Market Report. Conducting this market research, and then using the information to produce the report.
After dedicating himself full-time to brokerage a year later, Ben focused his time and efforts on the Intermountain Region investment and retail industry. In doing this he built multi-state exclusive representation for tenants as small as Starbucks to as large as Sprouts Farmers Market. This retail representation created a natural transition into the retail investment industry.
In 2009, Ben co-founded Mountain West Retail/Investment with partner Chad Moore, now known as Mountain West Commercial Real Estate.
Since 2011 Ben has completed over $2.6 billion in transaction value and the redevelopment of obsolete retail into over 3,500 units with strategic government and community participation.
Ben focuses on providing market-leading knowledge and specialized execution of real estate services for his clients so they may accomplish their goals and objectives. Ben and his team lead the Retail and Investment industry in transaction volume as well as total transactions. Ben’s clients, at his recommendation, solved COVID-19 abatements in March ’20 and never dipped below 80% collectibles and currently sit at 96% collections.
Anyone can do a deal, but when the market needs a problem solved or looking for creative solutions, they turn to Ben. If you have projects that you need help with or you want to sell, Ben and his team close over 95% of the deals they accumulate which has attributed to his $1.4 billion dollar portfolio.
